Sgt. Breiner with 7 years service in the Corps, currently an in-active reserve, spent seven months in Iraq in 2004 through 2005 serving with the 3rd LAR (Wolf Pack) and the 31 MUE (Task Force NAHA) offers the following, “ We need to bring the morale of our troops up Everything you see on television and in the news is so negative. Maybe it’s time we give these men and women more credit. Schools, hospitals, and infrastructure projects are being built. But, you rarely see these positive stories being reported. The Iraqi people, people who for years suffered terrible torture and had loved ones killed by the former ruling party, would thank us for giving them the opportunity to have a better life. I just hope that people will thank a veteran and remember all the good that goes unreported concerning our military.”
Sgt. Breiner welcomes Veterans and anyone interested in showing their support to partake in the march and a non-denomination prayer service upon completion.
